We are presently heading for the middle of March, and I'm still getting an error message that says:
Calculations of form 5329 lines 54a and 54b are not available in this update. You'll have to wait for a future update to file your return.
That's not acceptable!

Pretty good overall. I was used to turbo tax, so it took me awhile to figure out the nuances of H&R. Need clearer instructions on how to view the final tax return before printing, or else a different way to get there.

The use of the product was ok. I had no trouble entering data. Your status of my state return is still not fixed after several updates and restarts. CA FTB has already deposited my return to my bank. I hope next year you fix the problem.

Your software needs to be improved for printing. It cuts off the edges when the return is printed or saved as a PDF.

I was happy to find your program at half the price of my old one (TurboTax). It was easy to translate my last year information from Turbo Tax to you. As well, in general your program was easy to complete. There were a few glitches, though, that made it harder than it should be. 1. It is difficult to navigate to a particular page or section if you have to return to it later during the input. 2. Your requirement to artificially list each fund as a separate 1099DIV in order to break out the USGO is way too cumbersome. Why can't we just list the total USGO derived dividend for the listed 1099DIV as done in Turbo Tax for many years? 3. Why must I manually search for, download and fill-out certain State Tax Forms rather than have them included in your State Tax program. as Turbo Tax does (Arizona State Forms 340 and 352, for example). Fixing those irritants would move your product from good to great.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
