Only bought this because I lease mineral rights and must report them. There are so many more questions for that part and it's very confusing. The built-in AI is no help at all. I thought tax software was to help the average person do their own taxes but it's getting harder. More help for the average person is required.
Plus, I'm trying to do last taxes for a deceased person, and the software still has a glitch that is preventing me from finishing, and it's also very frustrating to do without help.

It is very tedious to enter the stock trade for a whole year, the software should be improved or made smarter, by offering user to upload photo or PDF file of stock trading record, then the software can retrieve the data from it without user to enter line by line.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming

Generally happy, didn't seem to get all the prompts for possible deductions, ex. registration taxes on not new cars, didn't like that if we wanted to review something had to go back through the whole topic again. Will probably use again next year.

In general, excellent.
However, I had foreign investment income and for some reason the software added Form 2555 Foreign EARNED Income which wanted my FOREIGN address. I tried putting in my US address which, of course did not work. Not filling in the form correctly, I was told by the software, would prevent eFiling.
Finally, I simply deleted the form and everything worked.
It was a quirk but it took me 1/2 hour to figure out what was going on. I made a guess at the fix and it worked. If I had to call for help it could have taken hours.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!
