The status checking couldn’t link to IRS website. If

I have used H&R for around 5 years now. Next year I’m trying a different brand. The software was extremely confusing this year. Many times during the “tax interview” I had no idea what was being asked.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare

Workflow on the main path is good. Data verification and Issue reporting needs improvements. The provided information does often not help to localize and root cause the issue. Supposed issues are reported repeatedly. For instance I had to review a foreign exchange rate in one of the forms over and over again. Deleting the value and putting it into the form again didn’t help either.
