H & R Block Software Support Sucks!!

I had one critical error mssg. I tried the interactive help function.. it couldn't fix it.. "we'll try harder next year" was the response.. let me put that on my return that I manually file... software support caller waiting was over 65 minutes. Smh... btw.. stop mailing the multiple disks to my house every year!!
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My last year using the product. Completely useless when preparing multiple state returns. Data needs to be transferred not only from Federal to state but also between states. Was a complete hassle to use when filing income from more that one state.
What a wast of money...

I have used this software even before H&R acquired the basic program from another company. It has only got better each year since.

Cons: Time consuming

Very comprehensive program that is easy to use. Built in extras like the donation value calculator are very handy for charitable giving deduction. Though I have never used it audit support would be great if ever needed.

A great product that takes complex ever changing tax requirements and condenses them into a usable sophisticated program. I would recommended to anyone doing their own taxes.
Pros: Easy to prepare
