I got it 2 months ago and it didn,t work, it brought in the wrong AGI and I had to print them off and mail them...
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wrong year state return filed

I filed my return which was rejected. The reason given was that i had filed my 2022 state return rather than my 2025 state return. However, the confirmation email from Block clearly states that I filed my 2025 state return. I had to pay the filing fee twice. Now I get to wait and see if the program gets it right this time
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was very happy with the federal portion of the software. The Maryland State portion however was more problematic. At the end it kept telling me there was an issue of an incomplete form and would not let me efile. I checked the form and it was complete.. I even printed it out to verify that it was complete. I had the exact same problem last year and had to end up paper filing and writing a check.This is very frustrating.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I find the H&R Block software to be relatively easy to use, and I like the way it guides through your return based on the information you provide. There are a few areas where the explanations could be described a little more in laymen's terms, however.
