We've used H&R Block tax software for more than 15 years; this year was challenging. We purchase our federal and three State software packages each year. It was very difficult getting assistance this year when the software had a glitch. When I finally found where to get help the session provided no resolution to correct the issue. Days later i finally reached another Rep and she gave me incorrect information. The info she gave me would have made a serious error in filing our taxes. Too bad, we liked H&R Block software prior to this year.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The health care section is somehow still confused when filing income tax return, specially for form 8885. Some check marks in check mark boxes could not be removed even not using it.

The software downloads easly, and is very user friendly with step by step easy to follow directions, checking for accuracy, and emailing the federal & state return. And let you know that the returns have been received and accepted.

The H&R Block Deluxe software application worked fine for preparing my return. Immediately after filing I was unable to open my return or the application and there is no help that I can find to help me understand what happened. There is now means that I have been able to find for technical help.
