I spent over 4 hours on the phone today trying to get some information about the software that I purchased.
While I was waiting I worked on their website. I could not get the help I needed. I also had a problem at the end of the filing process that I could not help either. I have used the H&R software for 6 years and never had any trouble. This year it was very disappointing.

I’ve used H&R Block software for several years now, the self help and ‘ fill in’ from last year makes the whole process seem flawless and easy to prepare.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Unable to do separate page printing, which makes it very difficult to use in a efficient manner.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

Extra charge of to efile STATE Taxes is too high.

There are still far to many times it doesn’t explain a field and tells you to go look up it up in an IRS pamphlet. Also the UI looks like it hasn’t been updated ever and I don’t think it ever has been.
