well it was good and fast .......i'm not sure if i saved any money this year because getting a late start but it was quick and easy and had it send out in a mater of 30 minutes

The software is too wordie and goes around the world to get across the street. Combining it with MS Edge is a real downer as well.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

My Free filing for the Federal was not the correct

My free federal filing codes was not correct and the IRS would not accept it so I had to pay for it out of my own pocket!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Program works very well. My only complaint is that the commands and actions are not as intuitive as they could be. Once you become familiar with the software it does what it is supposed to.

Great for Federal but beware on your State return

I've used H&R Block for years for my Federal and State returns. This year I discovered that the Illinois return prepared was incorrect for my family situation. Had I not done a paper return I would have owed ~$200. Instead I have a ~$400 refund. I checked my 2018 return and I paid ~$800 so I rechecked using a paper return and it's looking like I should have received a $200 refund.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

This software has improved so much! It really helped me de-stress and have confidence my prepared returns were as good as they were gonna get (by me doing them).
