Good features except for one

I had no problems doing my tax return, but when I got to doing my Mom's Return it was a nightmare. When I got to doing interest and dividends and I went to download everything from Merryll, Merryll was not in the list for download. I was shocked and I called Block and I was told they would not be in the list and I will have to manually have to input the info. There is no way I can do that , it is very complicated and well over 1000 entries. You have to be kidding me!! So now I purchased your software, as I have for over 10 years and it is useless to me. I will be going to Turbo Tax next year and I bet lots and lots of others will be doing the same as I have seen the internet has blown up over this.
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using HR Block for a few years but was disappointed in the 2025 edition because it didn't have the worksheets I needed to report a SS lump sum payment. Turbo Tax did.

I have used the program for many years. This time it licked up on me near the end, asking for an entry in a space that was reserved and did not permit an entry. I called and after a long wait was able to speak with an agent who researched the issue and advised me to delete the return and start over. I did so and the second time around it worked without a hitch. So, not great but good enough would be my rating.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
