Somehow my return got corrupted after the review
on February 27, 2026

I have been using this program for years on end. Normally it is easy enough to deal with. This year was different. I input my return, verified the forms, tried to submit my return to the IRS and instead the return got corrupted somehow and lost several fields of data. Mercifully, it did not transmit this return. I uninstalled the program, and reinstalled it. I restarted my PC between each step too. Then I completed my entire return as a new return and the second one completed and transmitted. I was more nervous thinking that the botched return transmitted than I was having to do it a second time, so it was a relief to see that floating in limbo.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
