Software had a glitch in it this year. Every time I entered a 1099 it duplicated it and erased another entry. I will be going back to Turbo Tax next year
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

I got though it. The only real issue I had was that I was almost complete but wanted to check something I had done. It took me back to the beginning and there was no way seemingly to accept that and go back to the end. It's a complex process and you have to have all these checks, but it is really awful to get through.
Second point: At the point in the process where you enter charity giving, maybe say up front - don't bother unless you have more than $xxxxx. It takes a lot of time to detail everything and then find out it didn't make any difference.

Been using H&R Block since 2012, but haven’t had to deal with excess contribution to HSA. For 2025 software, found examples of the same issues with H&R going back several years, still unresolved. Rather than making the interview questions clear and easy, the software somehow also changed the questions based upon answers, so unable to go backwards to review. Had to basically guess the answers, ended up having to read IRS instructions, and review completed 1040 and 8889 form entries rather than rely on interview — ridiculous! Would have been much easier if the interview required entry of multiple 1099-SA, and let the software figure out the rest.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
