Ok, but more cumbersome than in prior years.

I have used it for many years, but it seems like it was more difficult to find simple things like how where to put roof depreciation, estimated taxes for state. Just a few simple things. the H & R help stuff was hot helpful I went to the google search engine to fine some answers. Over all I like the program, I have a feeling the techs got to trying to improve and forgot wh there user was.
Pros: Fast

The program does a very good job of preparing your taxes especially from year to year but you still need to be intimate with how the information is compiled and processed. Overall, it is quite accurate. The only issue I have is the support that they tout is non-existent.

It works as always,, but I think I need something added to it that I can use to calculate my wash sale stocks... I often trade same stock at different dates and number of shares that it leave my tongue twisted ....
However my broker probably had it figured out as shown in my 1099 statement, but they dont leave any explanation on how they arrive at those figures ... even your software question the figures . I ignore your warnings because wash sale rules are senseless as far as I am concerned... no wonder most of us avoid wash sales. I dont blame you for not providing worksheet on wash sales but it can be useful and it can give traders more confidence to try wash sale transactions to see if they can get ahead... The wash sale rules can be like a dead end but it can be worked out if you provide a worksheet desgined for that.

can't efil prior year

I bought this because i thought i was going to be able to e-file a prior year. THat was not the case.
