A great software product -- year after year!!!

Have used H&R Block software for the past 15 years -- and have extremely happy (year after year) with my purchase!! The software is easy to use, comprehensive across multiple tax issues, and well worth the price!!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

After years of consistency the 2024 was a horror. I will not begin to enumerate the issues unless you want to pay my exorbitant consulting fees. If you not customarily use outside sources please consider do so.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

I have used H&R tax software for years. I’ve never had any problem. I filed this year 2024 taxes. When it was time to send it to my state taxes it made me pay twice to file. I’m not sure what happened but I had to pay for my state which was suppose to be included and had to pay for it before I could file.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Approved? Keep Your Expectations Low

We moved out of state early in the tax year and filed two state returns as well as a federal return. One state return and the federal return were processed with no issues. The second state return was processed but approved for 1/3rd of the refund amount the software calculated.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Un reliable and won't actually pay your taxes

I've ran into this two years in a row now. I normally pay my taxes within the software, put in my card information. It "accepts" it all then doesnt actually pay the IRS. So months later ill get a bill from them saying not paid. I've used this software for 10+ years now and the last 2 years im not sure why it fails me. Ill be switching to a different program that is reliable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
