For the last two years the IRS has rejected my e-file taxes because the Ajusted gross income doesn't match I don't understand because all my files match the AGI. Like last year I mailed my taxes to them.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

The software is great and I have been using it for over 40 years.
However, there needs to be a module for calculating Estimated Taxes for the following year which allows you to modify your current tax entries for expected entries in the following year. Obviously with the assumption of no change in tax laws.

Having used this software, and it's predecessor, I'm must be pretty satisfied to come back year after year. There is one bone to pick, and it is my experience when I brought a real error in the interview to the attention of a CSR. While it did not make a difference in my taxes, and the error would likely impact a very tiny percentage of users, it was disconcerting to have the CSR "blow me off."

Very efficient and easy, but at the very last stage, even after entering all my bank info, the amount owed jumped dramatically, with nothing in the ‘explanation for last change’ box other than a generic description of how ‘balance due’ is calculated. Could not get an answer on the phone either.
