I have used this program for over 30 years. It has worked fine except for this past year (2024 taxes). This past year, there was an update every time I turned the computer on. This was very disconcerting. Not sure if this was Block or the IRS. Other than that, I've had no problems.

I have been using HRB for my tax prep for years but other services are doing a better job with the services they offer. You should include a review of your taxes with the purchase and make it easier to speak with people rather than fight to get to someone by text or messaging. The form search can be a little confusing too. Improved search functions would be a welcomed improvement.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
