The software is constructed so it's easy to fill in income and expenses in logical groupings, while still allowing you to remain connected to the IRS forms. You always can go directly to the final forms or to worksheet-like formats so you can see how each data item is being applied. THis was especially helpful this year when COVID-related transactions could be confusing.. I found Customer Support to be easy to reach, quick to understand your issue, and prompt in getting it resolved or proving a good explanation for the specific software procedure.

In the past I have used both Turbo Tax and H&R. For my 2020 return I used H&R, and I am glad I did. The process seemed very professional. The questions were not ambivalent, they were direct, thus simpler to approach and answer. Now there is no reason for me to return to Turbo world.
