Major complaint with efile AGI from previous year.

there was an issue with your software that happened to me twice regarding last years AGI. I am doubtful that I will purchase again - I don't need the drama and this was a simple item.
My family includes three young students/part time workers. With my oldest daughter, when it came time to e-file the auto populate for LAST YEARS AGI showed zero? I thought that was odd since we used the 2023 H+R software and imported her data to start the 2024 return. So we dug it the old tax form and figured out how to over ride it.
My youngest daughter gets to efile portion and yes, it did auto populate the fed AGI from last year, but her return was rejected by the IRS. Looked up 2023, value matched. manually retyped the same value and it was rejected again. Again, we used H+R 2023 the previous year. AGI is an easy find and even on your cover page.
I don't know why it was rejected? was last year's not communicated correctly? We had to print out everything and mail it in since we could not e-file.
two daughters, two issues with last year's AGI and ability to e-file. Not good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought in December, very disappointed that final updates weren’t ready til March 2025. Kept saying IRS was the reason. Not so!!!! They had final change’s online end of Jan. early Feb.
Pros: Easy to import documents

I bought the state version in addition to the federal. It did not process our return correctly. I went back over all of the numbers I entered and still came up with an incorrect return amount. When I submitted it to the state they re-calculated our return and still weren’t able to come up with a correct amount as my W2 was not sent with my husbands 2099R. I don’t know if I will use it again next year.

Had an issue submitting my federal tax return. Received an error code related to pin and last years income not matching. Software support was less than helpful. Had to look at a Turbo Tax video on You Tube to correct. Besides that issue I will continue using software.
