I've been using Tax Cut Deluxe for over 10 years now. I've not had any problems with the software and have been happy with the ease of using the software when filling out our family's taxes. I plan to use it again next tax season.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Had an issue with my state return and got an answer of basically I don't know. Spent far too much of my time trying to search for the answer after that.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I've used H&R Block software for several years and it usually works well. This year I had an erroneous check in a box asking about a state return which triggered an error when I tried to file. I got on a chat to resolve what should have been a simple issue. After an hour with two different representatives, I was told someone would call me back within 5 days. No one did, but I found the problem myself and submitted the return. Needless to say I wasn't impressed with the chat service.
Cons: Time consuming

Why use anything else. The Block has been doing taxes forever, and it shows in the way this is presented. I tried one of the others and it didn’t even come close to how easy H&R is.
