I've been using this for years and will continue to use H&R Block. The import features, error checking and ease of filing make this a standout. I do wish I could import my 1099-B data from Chase however. Manually entering and checking these entries is time consuming. I used to be able to do this but lost this feature in recent years.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used the other major tax software competitors in the past. HRB's handling of my investments/dividends Is distinctly superior to all others.
HRB's shortcoming is in the arena of state tax. You offer a good future tax estimator for the feds, but absolutely nothing for the state of Maine. This was v. frustrating. The state of Maine offered little help. Finally, I went to one of your competitors who indeed had a state tax estimator that I could use for free.
