I’ve used H&R Block for several years now and very pleased with the product. Easy to use and guides you through the whole process of filing your taxes.

The 2024 software worked well for me except the print function for selected Federal forms. That seems to always print pages that are not needed for filing, basically wasting a lot of printer ink.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Happy with importing last year/integration with brokerage accounts. NOT happy with handling of state munis and not being able to file state return over the internet (when the state accepted the return after re-filling it out on line) The issue is handling my state versus other state munis (I assume)

I'm a return customer, and it mostly does what it's supposed to do. It's been fine with IRS except this year I received a 'CP5071' form letter from IRS to verify my identity. I've never had to do that before and it's a process that isn't fun to go through without a trusted video link. I hope IRS gets its act together and is easier for seniors in the future.
