Easy to use!

I like how it walks me through the entire tax return and has help available if I have any question.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund

H & R software is not prepared to complete the process of filing tax returns. I find numerous blocks by way of scheduled updates that are not customer friendly. For instance they announce a scheduled update for 2/17/2022 on 1/30/2022 and will allow electronic filing until the update is processed. When I go to the IRS I can find no information about an update pending for this particular tax item. On certain entries, the forms show both myself and spouse entries. When you attempt those entries, only one will show on the tax form and you must create a new entry to include both.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Issues for a non existent problem

My federal return information was the same this year as for the past 5 years and for some ungodly reason I was not allowed to e-file my returns. I am not a happy camper this year for that reason. The program kept telling me I had to fix a problem and there was NONE

Worst Program Written

Inability to re-print a tax return in a readable format is impossible. I finally after 10 years just switched to TurboTax. Couldn't import half of my investment accounts. Had to do it all by hand.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Brought this back in early December so I could efile as soon as I got w 2. As of 2/5 program still won't let me file because program keeps saying program is not up to date.
