The product this year did not have final worksheet to determine taxable social security until February 17, even though it had not changed from last year. This prevented e-file until it was finalized. There is an error of omission in the Nebraska program concerning decrease in income for taxable social security. First reported a month ago, it still had not been corrected by Feb 17.It does not maximize refund. I have recommended this product from

We had to wait till February 17th to file. Awaiting for Social Security worksheet to be updated. All other tax programs did NOT have this hiccup! Will use Turbo tax program next year!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents

I've been using this tax program for over 5 years. Excellent data intake and easy to follow instructions. As a retired school counselor and senior adult, I highly recommend this product.

OK program with some faults

I got along fine with this program with two exception. (1). I received a 1099 Misc from a rental property manager. The interview format led me to enter the data for this form, but then said I had listed expenses with no income, asking me to add the income on line 12 of a worksheet. That led to a double income from that rental. I had a bugger of a time straightening that out. (2) This program is terrible for downloading information from investment companies. For this reason, I'm going back to the program I had used before. I'll recommend this program with exception to those who have investment income.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Still the best tax software

I received this tax software in the mail, as I always do, and used it to import my previous year's info to file this year's taxes. The ONLY problem I had was that it put incorrect information in the AGI slot, which is info it should have imported from last year. Thankfully, when I reviewed the data, I caught the wrong amount and did the "override" to insert the correct amount. I have no idea where the software came up with the number it had put in the AGI slot - it did NOT match ANY AGI going back more than a decade and wasn't even close to what it should have been! This is concerning, as others who might not so carefully check every number on their tax forms might have overlooked this and faced an IRS problem. THIS is the only reason I gave the software only 4 stars this year.
