Been using for years. Had that issue in 2024 where it wouldn't e-file correctly but been good every other year. Importing previous year return and data is great to speed stuff up. Also can connect to brokerage and financial websites to import your tax form data automatically too. That's great with stock trades etc.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I've been using the H&R Block Software for years and, while I sometimes find it confusing, it's gotten the job done every time. I haven't tried any other tax software so I can't really make a comparison. Being able to access the full form was useful this year in resolving some questions I was having.

I have been using HR BLOCK tax software for years, but this will have to be my last year due to the lack of including FORM 8911 for the credit when installing an at home EV charging station. I don't understand how this much needed form is not included.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Not much change since 2017. Inaccurate figures brought in from prior year. Seems to get buggier each year. Need to have current and prior year open to double check amounts imported correctly. Previous agi was way off for 1 return ok for another.

After purchasing your Deluxe version I received a thank you screen. I didn't see an activation code thus when I went to E-File and didn't have a code I had to pay by credit card.
