Very disappointed efile failed, not notified AGI

very annoyed that the filing on paper option was hidden, and the need for last year's AGI which I did not have was not highlighted at the beginning of your e-filing screens, and instead you chose to advertise your financial planning services. My efile did not go through and I wound up having to run the copy of the paper return to the post office at the last minute before midnight. I had liked your software in the past, but had my agi on a different computer that broke. Very disappointed this aspect of your software failed me.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Could be great if they would fix one blatant flaw

I have been using TaxCut for 26 years. There is one glaring problem that they still have never fixed. You can create a mini-speadsheet to show the math behind just about any number block in the entire tax return. But once you create that, getting back to it is just about impossible. Instead of clicking on that field, like you would expect, you have to know the name of the IRS form and line number that it applies to. But one of the points using a program like this is to NOT have to know every line of every tax form. Do you job, and give us a way to get back to our mini-spreadsheets that makes sense to any sane person. It has been too many years to not have this fixed yet.

Overall great product. Only minus is I've to review after export from brokerage and carefully go through so that there is no zero cost basis on my options. I would like this to be flagged so that I cannot be filed. In tax sense there is no zero cost basis.

Works well, but the search feature is very restrictive. You have to know the exact thing you want, and the search will not use any logic to help you. I wanted to go to the worksheet for calculating Qualified Dividends and Capital Gains, which used to be a separate worksheet, but now is at the end of another worksheet. So the search never found what I wanted.
