Have been using this software for several years now. 2021 is excellent, as usual.

H&R software is always great application for taxes

I have used H&R tax application since 1998. However I did stop because at some point I ended up owing fed/state. So I went with a tax preparer who was not really interested in small clients. anyway started up again and for the past several years I ended up with a good return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

No additional thought put into questions to make it more understandable than reading the tax forms (esp. state questions). It is not much more useful than a calculator. Would expect this to improve over the years, but they keep doing the minimum to get by. Make sure you check the numbers after you import, several numbers were wrong: they should specify a minimum resolution of 300dpi because 200dpi does an inaccurate job.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use

Began using Tax Cut over 10 years ago. It is easy to set up, and you can input prior year information into current year. Taxes take me roughly 1-hour start to filed. No issues with inaccurate calculations, and have not been audited.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I've been using H&R Block software for more than 15 years. I've always been satisfied with how the software works. It's easy to use; directions are clear; process does not take an excessively long time to complete. I highly recommend it.

This software ask your questions that will directly relate to your forms in hand. It helps if you gather your forms through out the year and especially in January and February in ONE PLACE! Then just answer their in-depth questions as you go and before you know it, your done!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

Several software glitches

I've always been happy with this product, but not this year. Several software glitches. Sitting on hold forever only to have one hand not knowing what the other hand was doing. Very frustrating year this time. Kept defaulting to wanting to file an extension. Weird.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
