Stale not up to the times

I have been using HR block for the past 7 tax years and its just the same old semi ok to use. The fact that it had to do another update while I was in the middle of efile and had to pay more for state efile! The menus are the same the look is the same the upsell the same.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very hard to use software.. Long Time User

Very difficult to use. PDF imports are very weak and required manual editing.

Intuitive software that addressed my investment related tasks. Installation and carryover of information from prior year's taxes went very well.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Does not work when filling

Last year worked great. This year no good. Will not accept your file for 2021. It rejects any time you try to file. Reason given spouse AGI does not match IRS amount. Did all checks and there is a glitch somewhere in either HR Block software or IRS software. Only choice left is to mail in. What a pain and cost more money to send to IRS. I already paid for HR program to do it for you.

Don't Waste Your Money

After spending 14 hours trying to install the software I am giving up. I've spent 4 hours on the phone with support alone regarding my 1722 install error, which some have noted comes up as an issue every year. Don't waste your money!
Cons: Time consuming
