I have used H&R Block Deluxe for years. I find the software to be accurate, easy to use, and reliable. That said, it is expensive for a basic + tax return and I've never seen a discount explicitly for returning customers that doesn't expire. I always find myself purchasing late and I feel the returning customer discount should be persisent, right through 4/15

Need to ask people if they have an IRS pin first thing with a warning to check it on IDMe.Filing was rejected on tax day setting off a mad scramble. Also, stop opening the register now and Readme pages every time.

I trust the brand. My only disappointment is when some info from the federal doesn't get carried over to the state or info from last year doesn't get carried over. See driver's license, bank info etc.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

I had to pay extra to file an extension because the software is not working. Will not allow efile due to reporting foreign accounts. Very dissatisfied, need to check other options next year.
