I have been using the software for several years, and am happy with it. My taxes are pretty straight forward, I thought with 1099 income, interest, dividends, capital gains and typical deductions.
There is at least One BIG MISS in the software. I know the software doesn't cover every case, but there should be a more detailed interview at least highlighting potential exposure.
I have shares in a foreign corporation that I have learned is a PFIC by definition (who knew what that was?) . Read about the Moore Case that was decided by the Supreme Court mid year 2024. I have never sold shares, or received interest or dividend income. If it was a US investment, I would owe nothing. Although I own a small share of the company and have zero say in anything the company does, it is deemed I am part of a controlling interest.
Forget about the unfairness, but I had no idea about my tax exposure leading to a huge bill this year. I am required to pay taxes based on my share of the company income. I never received one cent. Yes, taxes were paid to the foreign government, but the US only gives you partial credit for that money paid.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I still can't print my returns. A level 3 was supposed to call me today at 3. He did nt call. I've spent much time on the phone and in chat every day this week, trying to get this problem resolved. No luck

My personal taxes are relatively complex. The program is easy and user-friendly. The interview is great. It's great to have so much data loaded from the prior year which avoids keying in duplicate information yearly.
Suggestion for improvement:
Provide better interview for the foreign tax credit 1116. The formulas are very complicated so it would be nice to have a 'learn more' note to help understand the many ratios that are applied to get to the result. I get back a small % some years and a larger % other years.
