Great Easy Tax Software, very intuitive, connected to my banks and brokerage firms tax files and down loaded all that was needed to get the work done.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

A Disappointing Product

Very sorry that I used this Software... It was impossible to e-file the state return and even though I made changes - they were not reflected.( Ex: Refund vs. Apply to 2022 taxes) It was frustrating to be unable to easily complete the return and I will no use it again.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Software update problems

Had problems downloading updates without going to software center. And during filing and after putting credit card info in had problem with errors for filing Ohio return with 1099 not having info in block 16 which was blank. I had to search other online sites to see that Ohio needed the distribution amount here before processing. As a result of that plus your program needing another update, which again was difficult, I ended up being double billed for filing the state return online.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the best, easy to follow and very complete. Also makes it easy to EFILE and stays with you all the way.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

additional states are expensive

My daughter used my software, but needed to buy an additional state, since she lived and worked in two states last year. She spent almost as much for that 2nd state as I did for the original tax software. She also discovered she couldn't file electronically for one of the states because she had no income or residency in that state last year.

Improvement but more to go

This year short sale of options, etc. was handled properly thereby eliminating the need to manually correct input. One annoying aspect of the software is the inability to approve/verify input as a group. This results in the need to "click" through lists that can consist of hundreds of items.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The NJ state software (health coverage) allows for only 10 dependents although all are carried over from the federal. That leaves those after 10 as showing not having coverage.
