If it ain't broke, don't fix it

I have for years purchased the software on CD ROM. it was an uncomplicated download. It took a while to figure out this new download. I'm in my 70s, I'm sure that I'll have to figure it out again next year. The program referred me to publication 939. It is 83 pages of complex tax laws and tables. I thought that the tax software would prevent this by asking the appropriate questions and doing the calculations needed for the appropriate input to the tax forms,
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've always used H&R block to do my taxes and they've always given me my biggest refund and easy to use and have the option of expert support..
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

All questions are easy to understand and answer. The questions in the area of sales of stock, and mutual funds could be worded a little easier to understand and answer.

Everything went smoothly with exception that Information on any ROTH conversion done, was minimal for someone who is 72 in 2021
