It's easier than you might think

I've been using the H&R Block tax software for years and while this isn't my first rodeo, I think it's easy enough that first-timers can successfully navigate the process and save money while getting a top-notch tax preparation service.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

2021TAX RETURN

I've lost track of how many tears I've used H&R Block tax software. It sure beats the painstaking work that preceded the software programs. I have to admit the tax laws are not getting easier. I think there could be more information available that would give the taxpayer more confidence that they aren't leaving anything on the table.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

Clear basic instructions

Some difficulty with Form 1116. Difficult to discover Copy 2 was used other than Copy 1 on interview. Finally, got help on phone after very long wait (first call directed on online version). An online chat earlier was unsuccessful; person did not know about Form 1116 and foreign tax credit.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Problem with E-File

IRS not accepting 1040's due to "AGI from previous year incorrect". AGI from
previous year IS correct.... Otherwise, easy to prepare taxes using program,but
difficult time using E-File.

easy process, terrible phone service

Have been using for a few years & have never had a problem except for this year.
Found the reps were helpful but not knowledgeable. Spent 1 & a half hrs. on the phone with one young lady who tried to be helpful. Too long to go into the problem. Just didn't get it solved

Love Program, BUT

I have used this program for several years, but the adobe pdf part did not work for the HP products. I eventually got around it, but it was frustrating.

I've used hnr disc's or download for 12 years and I am always guided in the right direction.
So easy, a caveman like me can use it. It's gratifying knowing I don't have to make some accountant rich.
