Very good program. Plan section needs enhancement

Overall a very good program, with the exception of the Plan section covering estimated tax payments for 2025. That section should prepopulate information from the 2024 return and permit editing. In its current form it is not very user friendly.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Poor fundamentals

It took 6 different trys to get an accurate 1040. Asked for a self population and I had to go in and manually correct it. I have used this product for years and this version is the worst I've experienced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There were some noticeable improvements to the software and filing process compared to last year's issues. However there was a problem during the review process, I was asked for information that the program had access to from last years return which was imported at the start. When asking for my and my wife AGI it should have input the numbers from the 2023 return and asked if this is correct.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
