I think the product is good. I've been using it for years. I just don't appreciate the rise in price. Software doesn't cost anymore. You've changed nothing in these last 4 years except maybe minor fixes, yet my price has gone from 30, 45, and this time around 55. Lower the price. I may switch back to turbo tax free if you're going to be rising your prices every year.

2024 TAX PROGRAM FOR FED AND CALIFORNIA TAXES:
There was virtually no help for figuring the 2025 estimated FED tax.
There was ZERO help for figuring the California estimated 2025 tax.
Luckily I knew what to do and where to find the required info and did it.
Previous years programs have provided guidance; the 2024 program did not.

I have used this product for many years and this is the first time I have been dissatisfied. I was not able to submit an efile of my taxes due to rejection by the IRS due to an invalid reason. When I printed my return to mail it instead, one of the forms had a line at the bottom that was cut off.

The first problem I had was with the discount code. I did not get a code until after I had purchased the software. Then I did the return which had a few problems but was not too bad. The I tried to electronically file. The IRS gave me a pin to file that was six numbers. The filing code requires a five number code. It would not take a six number code. I had the send in a paper file.
