I've used your product since the early 1990's to do my taxes. I've needed different versions over the years but now that I'm retired and living in Florida I no longer need the state tax version.
I find the interview's straight forward and I especially like the fact that they have suggestions (Like..."Most people select this"), very helpful. Would highly recommend. Also the import from the prior year saves time typing in my demographics.

Not User Friendly, 2020 and 2021 Returns Incorrect

I will not be using HRBlock in the future. My 2020 and 2021 returns resulted in significantly less of a refund than the HRBlock software computed. IRS explanations were designed to confuse taxpayers. Two incorrect with no explanation and not as intuitive as in the past tells me I need to find a dependable tax program or hire a professional. I will listen to anything HRBlock offers in terms of explanation but they will have a hard time convincing me to stick with them.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I find the software easy to use and I have used it for about 10 years. I like that it is available early to get started long before Tax Day, allowing you to get all your information ready. The only problem I've had was last year, when the State version came out, my activation code did not work. Tech support was able to correct the issue with one phone call.
