Have used the Deluxe + State program for over 10 years. No problems encountered. Easy to use (not withstanding the IRS complexities). For 2024 I used the electronic filing option for both federal and state. Made both filing and paying (bank transfer) easy. Nice setup for bank transfer.
Pros: Easy to prepare

5 stars would mean no room for improvement, but I buy the software each and every year since importing the prior year is so easy, including carry forward losses. I recommend it to everyone. I purchase State also to do my mother's taxes in PA for her also.

Not so good this year

First the activation code didn't work and had to call Customer support to get a new one. Also, it imported some amounts from my taxes two years ago even though I have been using the same software for some years now. And I don't have any idea where they got the AGI figure from last year that is used for verification by the IRS. It didn't match last years or from two or even three years ago. Sometimes it would keep changing some figures after I corrected them. So it was very frustrating this year.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to navigate. The carryover from previous years is a good timesaving feature. I was unable to e-file in spite of the directions and I found different directions elsewhere. There could be more help on this subject if problems are encountered. This product is not sold in your online marketing which is very annoying.
