iMac software updates overshadowed the tax prep

The software itself is/was fine, but the download process to an iMac was terrible. Every time the software required an update (which was frequently throughout the tax season), the update process would fail, and I would have to uninstall the entire program and reinstall. It created a really frustrating experience.
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall a good experience, but
1-the interview option failed to alert/allow input of my IP PIN. with difficulty I managed to search and manually input this important info.
2-Your formatting of various printed reports is really poor, in fact worse than poor. At a minimum there should be an option to print file reports w/o the "NOT FOR FILING" and the attendant shrinking of the report text area.

The feature that I would like to have is that when I am viewing a form, I would like to click on a cell value and be taken to the interview that caused that cell's value. Right now the software has a 'related to' option that never seems to go anywhere. It took me a while to track down a cell that got incorrectly populated and this happened many times.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund

Instructions Lacking

Continued to get a rejection saying previous year AGI was not correct. I got a id.pin, a transcript for previous year. Nothing entered made a difference. Finally called and was told to put zero in previous year AGI. That worked. Instructions mentioned nothing about this

The program is easy to understand and use, and most of the obscure terms are defined. Information from the federal return is shared with the state return saving time and effort. Once the returns are complete, it is easy to either print and mail or email the returns to the federal and state tax departments. My grand daughter filled out her first return this year, and, with one or two exceptions, was able to answer all the interview questions on her own.
