Federal software is very good and complete. The NY state software has multiple sections where you have to click whole form and manually complete the forms. No links to the NYS instructions.

This tax program isn't as user friendly as it needs to be. If I hadn't used TurboTax in the past, I'm not sure I could have navigated it. For example, there's a glitch in the program once it determines you're over age 62. I kept getting an error message that was asking me to enter my social security income, even though I'm not receiving social security benefits yet. It was very difficult and frustrating to by-pass the issue.
