My only gripe is that after importing my previous year's return, the program would not let me add to the number of charities I donated to. I was able to change the charities and the amount donated to each, but was limited to the total number of entries from the prior year.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had a very simple return this year since I retired and had no schedule C. It was the easiest one I've ever done since before I had a mortgage in 1981 and was doing my tax return by hand. There's still some inadequate explanations but I got past them.

If you split a fund between 2 accounts, it leaves the 1040 refund field blank and triggers a verification process that delays my refund another 9 weeks (at least). I am very unhappy.

I have purchased the H&R Block tax software every year for quite a few years. In the beginning i encountered some minor problems. Now I am very satisfied with the software. A specific is I receive a multitude of 1099Bs, a feature in the software is the ability to download tax information from some of my accounts. 1099Bs. With the software I downloads the tax information, and the information is automatically populated in the process, and prompt you to review. If I was to do that manually and depending on the amount it could take me hours or maybe days.
