There are still bugs in the software and the layout could use a major makeover. I have learned to work around the quirks and limitations of the software. The NIckname is just another example of clunky software.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

After using TaxAct for 20+ years, I switched to HR Block software.
Using it for last 4 years and very happy with the software. If I re-import from a bank or brokerage, the software should be able to handle the re-import without creating duplicates. Currently this is an issue with re-imports. After re-import, I have to go back, find and remove all duplicate forms manually.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using H&R Block Deluxe tax-prep software for over 15 years and have generally been happy with it. The last few years, however, the forms included have been reduced and I'm finding it challenging to continue with this edition and might need to upgrade to Premium level. IMO, that is not fair...

Worked as expected but K-1 handling remains limited. Implied I was being charged for e-filing federal in spite of five free commitment. If I am really charged I won't use Block again.
