Quality has gone downhill on this software drastically. This years version for macOS could not even print the paper copy of the return. I had to find the solution through Google searches because support was unable to help. The online updaters also did not work correctly, so I had to manually download and install the updates. Outside of that, the software did work once updated, so I'll give it a 3, where in years past it would have been a 4 or 5.
Pros: Easy to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using H&R software for several years and it's worked fine for the most part. This year it asked if I had gotten a third stimulus check which I did not. Once filed I got a nasty gram from the IRS saying I didn't qualify and I owe x amount.
I think this software is fine for basic tax returns like I usually have but I'm not sure how good it is for special circumstances but I will probably continue to use them.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
