I've been using 2021 Software
H&R Block Deluxe (with State) for many years. It's very easy to import information from the previous year which is very helpful as a safeguard to not forget an entry. The dialogs and entry forms are pretty straightforward but sometimes you have to do a little research for a non-standard situation.
If you need to submit your return early then you make want to look elsewhere. The final tax forms and software aren't usually available until March. Updating the software is automatic and easy, but you'll have to wait for it. I like to get a rough draft of my taxes in January as soon as tax forms arrive, but have to wait for the State program to be available and the Federal program to be complete.

Very intuitive and helpful as you go through the process. Very few times in the process where you are unsure if you've answered correctly. Even then the "?" help is very useful.
A bit difficult if you need/want to review a section or specific entry. For example: If you've sold stock and want to review the results to verify that the calculated capital gains is what you expect. In general: If you are not sure if you've provided the right answers and want to review what the software has produced/calculated it can be difficult to find and understand the forms and working documents.

Well i have never had any problems with this software in probably 15 plus years well 2021 was not the case my calculations with this software were wrong way off and i cant get the Government to give me the time of day every time i have call them they say please call back another day please help me figure out why this happened please help
