I've used HR Block for the past couple of years. I suppose you get what you pay for in life. I use the basic service. I'm really just looking to file a pretty basic return, typical investments, dependents, etc. I don't have an issuing doing or understanding taxes. But as tax laws change and kids hit college, there are some options. I found like most AI help it is completely worthless. I had to research my questions outside the app, then figure out how to navigate to the proper form.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
