While we have used HR Block for many years, and are generally very pleased with the product, there continue to be some areas of the process that could use a little more clarity in guiding completers. I find that there continue to be some things I simply have to leave the application and research independently. And some wording leaves a little confusion as to whether I am inserting the correct info in the correct area.

Everything was fine until the end of the return. Then, your software insist I fix "errors" , often multiple times, in the worksheets. I spent half the time doing my return fixing what shouldn't have had to be fixed in the first place. Suggest you fix your software.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used H & R Block tax software each year for many years, but I found your 2024 edition to be of lower quality than usual. More specifically,,it’s ability to handle my 401k and IRA required distributions is far from the seamless product I have come to expect.

I have tried several times to do my 2024 taxes with your product i purchased on line like I do every year. For some reason the IRS keeps rejecting it. So I have tried online to get help to no avail. Even trying to find one of your offices that would help me. Nope. So today 4/11/2025 I have an appointment Monday to get my taxes done and have to pay again!!! Not a happy camper.

This is the first year I had problems with your product. NUMEROUS times the program would delete the info I put in and I'd have to start over. I also purchased an additional State and it wouldn't download, I had to repurchase a second time before it downloaded. It's showing I was charged twice, which I need to be reimbursed for duplicate charge. After downloading it kept switching to the other State I had. It was very frustrating, I'm thinking of Turbo Tax next year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

the program is still great Was not thrilled the acces code was on a register receipt. Have we gotten to the point where profit outweighs the potential for theft?
I was extremely apprehensive about this, all ann individual needs to do is print out another copy of the receipt and boom you have potential tax fraud. Not a good look
