Have used this product for several years. This year I would have to say that your interview process and explanations of Schedule K-1 Estates and Trusts is sadly lacking. Defer the customer to some instructions and wash your hands.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare

Unable to purchase additional state versions. Credit cards filed to process in the app. I downloaded TurboTax and did our tax returns. Second year in a row HR has had software issues. I will no longer be using the software as it is too buggy.

I have been using H&R Block software for taxes for many years. I have several schedule C's, capital gains, estimated tax payments, and interest in addition to W-2 income, making my return a little complicated. The software guides me through the process. However, I wish there was more online Help on filling out individual fields. Often, a prompt is ambiguous, and I have to use Google to figure out what might be the best approach to answering a question. An example is filling out estimated taxes where the payment falls into the next or previous year. Also, whether a book royalty is better represented as part of a schedule C business or just as strictly royalty income. (They fall into different forms.)
