Two years in a row, miscalculated my taxes. Getting IRS letters with money due on a pretty simple return is really a sign of incompetence

I've used the H&R Block preparation software for about 10 years now. I've been incredibly pleased with its performance. It makes it so easy to do taxes including some relatively complex issues such stocks and retirement income. I always finish a return feeling confident that all was done right and optimized for me. I've never had an IRS audit. Before this software, I would procrastinate doing my tax returns resulting in fines and penalties and lots of stress. Now, this program just lets me get right to it, stress free!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Not sure I’ll use this software next year - too many inconsistencies that could not be explained when I called for clarification. The representatives were pleasant and tried to help but could not provide definitive answers to three particular issues. I have never filed before not being 100% sure of my return’s accuracy. I guess time will tell.
