I have been using the Deluxe Product for many years; if you can read and follow instructions, product is for you.. never have had an IRS issue with my filings.

I have used B&R Block tax software for 20+ years. It makes calculating and paying taxes less painful, and has on occasion pointed out deductions I missed, saving me money. Sometimes it comes across issues it can't handle well, such as schedule B and schedule K1 information. I would gladly pay more for a super deluxe version that could properly deal with these non-routine tax issues.

Cons: Hard to import documents
