Federal is pretty good with the exception of not allowing you to see how the tax liability is calculated. If you have multiple types of income, this means you cannot see the impact of each type.
The state programs are bare bones, with very limited or no instructions or help. I did 3 different states and had to do my own research on correct way to enter various income types and sources.

I like it overall, so I have been using it for years. However, I hired a financial advisor two years ago, who trades my stocks hundreds of times a year. While each trade can be import into H&R Block Delux, each generates a warning at the end when an overall review is performed. I have to select edit for each trade, and click through it. It takes me hours to go through hundreds of trades. Please add a feature so I can confirm multiple trades at a time. Thanks! I will have to switch to TurboTax otherwise.

I worried about possible error, deleted my financial institution upload, tried to reupload it, which failed, spent 50 + minutes on phone with help team to learn I just would have to manually enter it all. Been using software for years with great experiences, but this year was frustrating. But I presume it was a unique technical glitch and will continue to use it in future years.
