I thought that some of the tax prep was clearer than TurboTax, my main complaint though is that I have some mild visual impairment and I found your software difficult to adjust in order to accommodate. I work on a computer full time for my job, and can adjust the view enough to accommodate, however your software doesn't allow for that. Made it really difficult to get my taxes done.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare

Good product overall, though the interface feels a little clunky compared to competitors. Going back to double check forms like 1099s isn't quite as intuitive as it could be, and the limited number of financial institutions that data can be imported from is a little annoying. But it's more affordable than some competitors, and got the job done.

I initially started using Kiplinger Tax Cut then was migrated to HRBlock when they purchased it. I have been using this product for most of my adult life. This product is fantastic. I wouldn't consider using any other product. The previous years information carries over making completing our taxes extremely easy.

I've used H&R for YEARS!! This year the package is simply Not working. I have not figured out what the issue is, but I will. I have requested the "IRS extension", so I can get it to work. I will be trying to get the software to accept my figures, which are very similar to last year. The software simply isn't responding......

The process is as painless as can be (considering I'm preparing a tax return).
Two complains:
- It suggested that I might not need to itemize medical; expanses. And while my medical expenses did not get me anything on my Federal return, they did get me money back on my state return. So y'all might teak the program to mention that.
- the planning (for next year) SUCKS: Using this years numbers it calculated my 2025 tax liability would be bout $2500. My this year's tax liability is over $13,000 THAT IS JUST WRONG

Fairly easy program to do normal taxes, especially if you can take the IRS standard deduction. What I don’t like if if the program finds errors or areas of concern, there is little help to rectify those issues.
