Every year, the software last or near to last steps of data accuracy is hard to understand what to do to go to the next step. If I delete that page, it pops back up as an error again. Try give a line or two what my options are to move on and submit.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare

It was easy with the exception of the RMD part. The system said that I should calculate the RMD, but doesn't tell you how.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I have been using this software for years and years, so I know how it works. For me, it is smooth and easy to use. I do not have the most complex financial situation currently, but back when I ran my own business it really made things easy. Nowadays I just get my taxes done quickly and efficiently, print my return to a pdf file, and send off the e-file. I don't know how something as complicated and convoluted at US Income Tax preparation could be made much easier. I will purchase it again next year.

The software does not allow attachment of a pdf file. This makes it very cumbersome for entering 1099B data when you cannot download the information.
