I paid for this software, even though I really didn't need it, because of the free e-file. I was unable to e-file for some unknown reason, so I lost the only real benefit of the software.

I had an issue with the software which was escalated two levels, and then I got no help whatsoever. This was definitely a glitch in the software, and I know that because I have been using HR block Software for my taxes for the past 12 years. I had to figure out a way to punt and get around this glitch on my own in order to be able to file electronically. Very disappointed in the help I received, or should I say the help I never received.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall, I liked the program. Good value for the purchase price. I had two problems. Software was hard to update. Calculating the taxable amount of our RMDs was not straightforward due to our Qualified Charitable Distributions. I had to Google for help.
